So football season is now in full swing. Here in Az you have the Cardinals, the Sun Devils and the Wilcats all having great seasons so far. The question for most people is who is gonna ruin the "dream season" first? My money is the Sun Devils. I think Todd Grahm is overrated and inherited a skillfull team. The thing I like about him is that he is a disciplanarian, something lacking in all levels of football, so he may shock the college world with some good victories.
As for the Cardinals, I have said this since early last year. They have the best defense in the league. For those of you who don't believe me, think about this. They went into New England with the not so great and very uncoffident Kevin Kolb and came out with the win. People can say what they want about that game but the bottom line is the D kept Brady in check and out of the endzone. When Brady only throws one touchdown against you thats a win, even if you loose the game. Fortunately for the Card's they pulled out the win.
Now the Wildcats. All I can say is the beating they took the other night in Oregon hurt really bad. If they put up even a little bit of a fight you could still argue that they would still be ok, which they might. The real test comes this week against #18 Oregon St. If they can beat them, I think they are for real this season. If they loose they will struggle to make a bowl game.
